Is Boody Ethical?

Yes. Boody’s factories are all WRAP Gold Standard certified, that comply with ISO 14001 Regulations ensuring products are responsibly manufactured in terms of the environmental impact. Their factories use state-of-the-art computer knitting machines to create seamless garments – meaning fabric wastage is minimal. Additionally, all Boody products are PETA Vegan Approved and certified, using Oeko-Tex 100 certified natural dyes.

They use rainwater to grow their bamboo and all water used in the production process is recycled and reused. Their packaging is biodegradable/compostable and recyclable, made with recycled, post-consumer waste by FSC-certified suppliers, who prioritise the preservation of natural ecosystems and prevent deforestation.

Boody clearly demonstrate their commitment to maintaining a responsible and transparent process every step of the way.

Is Boody Involved with Charities?

Yes, Thread Together, their official charity partner, works with 250 retail partners including Boody to provide new clothing to Australians who are ‘doing it tough’. This includes those in emergency accommodation, those fleeing domestic violence, those out of work, and more.

Boody is a member of 1% For The Planet, donating 1% of their online sales to non-profits who help protect the environment. They are also an active supporter of Breast Cancer UK, donating 1% of all bra sales in 2021. They also donate Boody samples to Something To Look Forward To, a charity that promotes well-being, stress relief and recuperation for Cancer sufferers.
