Is People Tree Ethical?

Yes. They are Soil Association certified and GOTS certified; they have the Fairtrade Mark license; they are a World Fair Trade Organisation member; and they are supporters of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). They also meet OEKO-TEX® standards; they use Lenzing certified TENCEL™ Lyocell from FSC certified plantations, and are PETA-approved vegan.

People Tree also use bio-degradable packaging and although they still use plastic bags, they are the most widely recyclable version. They also support the WRAP UK Plastic Pact. At present, it is a women’s only clothing brand.
